Spending the day admiring the beautiful sights along the Thames in London inspired me to sport this nautical combination of white jeans and stripe top. White jeans are my favourite summer jeans and the pair I’m donning is J Brand which I find super comfy! Be warned that my blog will be featuring 50 shades of white this season!
I don’t ever need much of an excuse for dressing to theme and my first visit to the Chelsea Flower Show was the perfect one to go green! Broderie Anglaise is my go to fabric this season and I’m loving seeing this textile moving away from its traditional use in white fabrics. I love the structure of this dress, its one of those versatile pieces that I think can be dressed up or down.
I love love love chunky knits! Not just for the cozy, snuggle up feel but anything that offers comfort and style in one go is bound to become my wardrobe staple. I’m wearing a colour block, crop knit from Whistles and have paired it with high waisted shorts. Pairing shorts and knits is one of my favourite Spring looks, it’s a subtle reminder to me that summer is just around the corner 🙂
Clos Maggiore (a cute little French restaurant in Covent Garden) has been on my radar for a while now and I finally made it there last night. I wanted to wear something sophisticated and sexy (it was date night after-all!) and this blue bodycon number ticked both boxes. I love the fit of this dress and the bold shade (hello Spring!). Paired here with my trusty suede navy blue LK Bennett heels and metallic blue clutch, I’ve kept the accessories light to not take the shine away from the brightness of the dress. Continue reading
