Amalfi Coast

I have just spent the most amazing week travelling the beautiful Amalfi Coast in Italy and here is a peek at a few of my favourite moments and looks.

Capri – I said YES!!!

Our holiday kicked off on the beautiful cliff-sided island of Capri. The town is abuzz with day-trippers and tourists alike, filling up the narrow cobblestoned streets lined with designer boutiques; you get transported to a place like no other. We took a trip to Anacapri and embarked on a breath-taking chair lift ride floating us to the highest peak of the island, Mount Solaro. I chose to wear a white dress, which in hindsight was a fitting choice since my boyfriend asked the all-important question and became my fiancé!

IMG_4844 I like the versatility that this white eyelet drop-waist dress offers; starting from browsing the Capri boutiques, sight-seeing around the island and ending with an alfresco dinner. I’ve worn an Accessorize pouch bag to add some colour and brightness to the outfit. I especially love the summery feel of wearing white and the feminine flare of this dress.

There I was standing on the peak of Capri, feeling on top of the world!

Arriving to Positano by ferry allowed us to engulf this picturesque town in one spectacular view. A town perched high between sea-side cliffs, the serene sound of waves crashing ashore together with the rich smell of Italian cuisine left my senses enchanted!

Denim cut-offs are a cute addition to the holiday pack-list and I was glad to be acquainted with this pair from All Saints. The detail added by the exposed buttons instantly drew me to these shorts. I’ve worn a loose fit bright yellow linen t-shirt with V-neck (not just a nod to limoncello!) to create a laid back style.

For our day trip to Pompeii I chose to channel my inner archeologist and wore beige shorts and silk white shirt. I know it’s been said plenty of times but adding a white shirt to an outfit truly creates an effortlessly chic look and it’s certainly worth investing in a good set! I’m wearing a Hugo Boss silk shirt, which ended up being a great choice for the unpredictable day – providing sun cover in the heat, and warmth in the wind during cloud shade.
