Charlie does London

I’ve had the pleasure of spending my weekend with this handsome fella! This was William’s nephews first ever visit to London city and the excitement had been building for months. His “London things to do list” had four must sees; Big Ben, the Queen’s Home, Uncle Billy’s Home and Kalps’ blog! (how cute is he???) IMG_5906 Typically though we’ve had the worst weather this weekend with about a month’s rain falling on Friday alone! Luckily the rain held back on Saturday allowing us to embark on our London adventure, starting with a visit to St Paul’s Cathedral, followed by Buckingham Palace, St James’s Park, Trafalgar Square and of course Hamleys 🙂

For this action packed tour, comfort was at the forefront of choosing my outfit. These grey chinos were perfect for the day; they are extremely comfortable and a great alternative to jeans for creating a casual weekend look. I love vibrant colours and this pink t-shirt was the natural choice to brighten up this outfit. And finally the leather jacket, it’s an absolute staple of mine and probably the most versatile and timeless piece of clothing I own. I wear it with everything: from jeans to dresses, mini skirts, maxi skirts, chinos and shorts – literally everything! It’s the one piece of clothing I would say is worth investing in a real one because it will never go out of fashion, it’s appropriate for work & play and it can be worn across all four seasons! My trusty Ferragamo ballerina flats and Pauric Sweeney bag completed today’s look.
