Girls in Gothenburg

Girl’s trips are the best! It’s a time for complete relaxation and we chose Gothenburg as our destination. How lucky we were to pick a weekend when the city was hosting a music and culture festival which created an awesomely vibrant atmosphere. I can’t remember the last time I visited a city so alive! Saturday was a day for meandering and absorbing the city highlights and I wore this super comfy cargo and a grey marl t-shirt with a colourful scarf.

Nothing to wear?

Closet full of clothes but nothing to wear….ever get that feeling? I do all the time which normally has the effect of sending William into cardiac arrest! I’ll be the first to admit that I have a lot of clothes but sometimes nothing takes my fancy (I’m sure I’m not alone in this). Today I’ll share a few tricks I’ve learned over the years on creating new looks with what I have in my wardrobe.

Chez Bruce

With the likes of Marco Pierre White and Gordon Ramsey having worked at the former site of this quaint little suburban restaurant and consistent accolades such as being voted London’s favourite restaurant along with its Michelin star, Chez Bruce attracts crowds from all over London. We were there because their lunchtime special allowed us unlimited BYO wine 🙂 (which was the ideal way to celebrate my boozy mate’s birthday; Happy Birthday Jules!!)
