The final bit of sun before winter sets in, where did the summer go? Let’s be honest it never really reached the British shores so we’re off to Spain chasing the sun. And best of all mum was over from New Zealand to join in our Andalusian adventure!

Malaga was the starting point of our trip and this stop was dominated by tapas, pinchos and sangrias! Malaga is a great place for strolling the polished tiled alleys and enjoying a drink and a bite in one of the many outdoor tapas bars. I kept my outfits casual for this lag with denim cut offs and plain t-shirts. Accessories are the best way to liven up this look and this colourful Zara head turban did the trick for me ๐Ÿ™‚

There is something very regal about pleated maxi’s and I wanted to channel that feeling in my visit to this incredible palace. I’ve paired my skirt with a white embroidered lace crop top. Crop tops are the perfect pairings forย high waisted skirts and shorts as it doesn’t take away from the look.

Our stop along the Costa Del Sol was all about being beach bums! Shots below of my favourite cover-ups.

The last stop in our road trip and what a beautiful city to stage the finale! A dramatic cathedral, another intricate palace and importantly more tapas and sunshine was the best way to finish our holiday. Seville was a more metropolitan city than our other stops in Andalusia so I went for a slightly more dressy option with these Patrizia Pepe silk shorts and front tie chambray top.

And lastly, no matter how old you get, everyone still needs their mommy!!! ๐Ÿ™‚
