Why autumn isn’t so bad

At least autumn is reliable. It’s arrival has been prompt and the consistent rain is nothing out of the ordinary. Yes, autumn doesn’t disappoint! But on the bright side it opens up a whole new closet door of knits, leather, layering and boots :). I’m a summer person so tackling the new season requires considerable amount of retail therapy!

A statement knit is my staple. It has the ability to brighten up even the gloomiest of days! This patch printed roll neck is super cosy and 3/4 length bell sleeve makes it a great option for layering over. And I LOVE the colours!

I recently bought my first ever Paige denim jeans and I swear by this pair. The feel is soft and super luxurious and it’s made with some innovative fabric that doesn’t stretch so the jeans retains its shape and size (Verdugo ankle elia collection). How many times have you bought jeans that stretched too much and never felt the same? Problem solved 🙂

Also want to get in a few words about my new boots (yes I have been on a spree!). I’ve mentioned before that I really struggle with shoes comfort-wise so am over the moon to discover this new label Ted&Muffy. Finally I’ve come across a label in the UK that makes shoes with different widths and also tailor their tall boots for calf size; hurrah! The pair I’m wearing have required no breaking in! And all this without compromising on style.

Lastly a hat is the perfect accessory to complete the winter look. Fedora hats are another winner for me both in terms of being super trendy and extremely versatile. This Burgundy number is so irresistable and the leather detail gives it a nice edge.
